Charitable Objects: A VILLAGE HALL FOR THE INHABITANTS OF THE PARISH OF GRAZELEY AND THE GRAZELEY WARD OF THE PARISH OF SHINFIELD

Financial Accounting year: 1st September – 31st August.

The Hall operations are overseen by the Management Committee which is made up of ten volunteers from the local community.

The management team is made up of formal charity officers – Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer, Lettings – and six other supporting trustees from across the community including Shinfield Parish Council and Grazeley School.

The Management Committee meets every 6 weeks and is legally responsible for all aspects of managing the hall including Lettings, Banking and Finance, Charity Commission reporting, Health and Safety, insurance, website, social media and all ongoing maintenance and repairs.

The AGM is held each October and at this meeting the year’s achievements and formal financial accounts are presented. Elections are also held for all roles on the committee.
